National chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun lost his polling unit in today’s governorship election in his home state of Edo, even as early results favour his party’s candidate Godwin Obaseki.

While his party, APC polled 69 votes in his Oredo Unit 2, ward 2,  the opposition Peoples Democratic Party got 78 votes.

The PDP candidate, Osagie Ize-Iyamu also won his polling unit in Ward five of Orhiomwon local council, winning 369 votes, to APC’s one vote.
