The crown Prince of Benin Kingdom, Prince Eheneden Erediauwa would be crowned the 39th Oba of Benin Kingdom as he began his coronation journey by trekking a distance of about 10 kilometres from his palace at Uselu to Eko-Ohae.
Erediauwa left Uselu on Saturday at about 3:45pm accompanied by a large crowd mainly indigenes of Uselu.
He climbed a 500 years old palm tree as part of his coronation process.
Commercial activities were paralysed along the routes he trekked through from the Benin-Lagos road, through Lagos Street to Ekpo-Ohae at Urhokpota hall.
He moved to the Iyan-akpan now known as the popular five-junction where Chiefs from Uselu community handed him to Chiefs from Benin.
