Egyptian govt. donate books to Kwara schools

The Egyptian Government has donated publications produced by the authority of Al-Azhar University, Cairo to Arabic schools across Kwara State.
It was gathered that no fewer than 55 Al-Azhar magazines issued by Al-Azhar institution of Egypt and 100 African Perspectives books were part of the donations.
The Head of Press and Information department in the Embassy of Egypt, Ahmed Maher Akl, made the donation when the Chairman of the KwaraState Arabic Education, Dr. AbdulKadir Salman, paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy in Abuja on Wednesday.
Maher Akl noted that the gesture was part of the Egyptian government’s contributions to the growth and development of education among youths across Nigeria even as he reassured of the continued efforts of Al-Azhar University towards updating global research.
In his remarks, the Dr AbdulKadir Salman who is also the Proprietor of Darul Kitab Wasunnah College of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Ilorin commended the  at the  Egyptian government’s commitments in uplifting the standard of education among Nigerians.
While appreciating the gesture, Dr. AbdulKadir assured the Egyptian Embassy’s Spokesperson that the books will be distributed among scholars, schools as well as students of the universities across the state
