The Olowu of Kuta kingdom, Oba Ahmed Adekunle Makama Tegbosun lll, has felicitated with the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdul Rosheed Adewale Akanbi on his 51st birthday.
ROYAL NEWS reports that Oba Ahmed Makama described the Oluwo as a ‘rare king of this generation’ and wished the Iwo monarch well as he adds another year.
The Olowu who is the Chairman of the Council of Owu Obas in his congratulatory message rejoiced with Oluwo on his new age even as he praised him for demonstrating the much-needed character synonymous with the custodians of the values and the interests of Iwo land and the Yoruba nation.
He further noted that Oba AbdulRosheed Akanbi’s ascension to the throne and the prestigious stool of the Oluwo of Iwo has further strengthened his belief in getting the younger generation positioned for leadership roles in all spheres of our national.
“Oluwo has exhibited sterling leadership qualities and deep understanding of history of Iwo land in particular and that of the entire Yoruba nation. I hereby congratulates the Oluwo who is a monarch of uncommon royal candour.
