Late D.L. Bamigboye

The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Gubernatorial Aspirant Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi has described the death of the First Military Governor of Kwara State Brig. Gen Lasisi Bamigboye (Rtd) as  a colossal loss to the state .

In a condolence Message to commiserate with Kwarans and the good People of Omu-Aran community in Irepodun local government Area of the state, Abdullahi noted that the late elder statesman  had laid a solid foundation for the growth and development of our dear state.

He stated that “the death has created a big vacuum that would be difficult to fill particularly at this transition period in which his wealth of experience would be useful and needed most. ”

The Gubernatorial Aspirant was hopeful however that” Our consolation lies in the fact that he led a life worthy of emulation adding that he would not be forgotten soon as he selflessly served the state and laid a solid foundation for the State that we are all proud to call ours.”

While praying to God to grant the repose of the deceased eternal rest, Mallam Abdullahi urged all Kwarans to sustain the state’s Unity in diversity noting that, it would be the only way to immortalise this great elder statesman .

He also prayed to God to grant all those he left behind and Kwarans in general the fortitude to bear the great loss.
