BREAKING…..Emir of Lafia dies at 84

The chairman Nasarawa state traditional council of chiefs, late Alhaji Isah Mustapha Awgai is dead, aged 84 years.

Confirming the incident in Lafia on Thursday, the members of Lafia Emirate council, Ajiyan, Lafia, Alhaji Sule Abubakar, said the late emir passed on at the Nazemiya Teaching Hospital, Abuja at early of Thursday morning after a protected illness.

He said the diseased, who was born on the 14, March, 1934, ascended to the throne in 1974.

He added that the late emir married three wives and survived with two children and many ground children.

According to him, the diseased celebrated his birth day 4, May,

2017, adding that he spent 44 years on throne before his ultimerly dead.

It was gathered that the late emir had been sick for over four months before he was flown to abroad for a medical attention, but later brought back to Nigeria and later died in Abuja at a private hospital.
