Despite the distraction, the PDP went on with it’s campaign, received by a throng of supporters amid cheer, applause and commendation.
The PDP Subsequently proceeded to the Palace of the Emir of Okuta to seek royal blessings.
Receiving the PDP Stakeholders at his Palace, the Emir described as unfortunate the desperate resolve to violence, from those he described as agents of distabilization imported to cause confusion.
