2019 election: Vote Atiku to end poverty in Nigeria – Gov Ahmed

Gov Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara has called on Nigerians to vote for the presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in the coming general election to eliminate poverty in the country.

Ahmed made the call on Friday during the PDP governorship campaign rally in Bani, Kaiama Local government area of Kwara State.

The Governor said the poverty rate in the country is unbearable and need an experienced entrepreneur to rescue the situation.

“Atiku will put food on our table, create job opportunities for unemployed youths, graduates and bring total transformation to the country.

“Atiku is a vast industrialist that knows how to move Nigeria forward. He will perform better and excellently if you vote him,” he said.

The Governor also called on people of Bani community to vote massively for Kwara PDP governorship candidate, Mr Razaq Atunwa.

Ahmed described the former speaker as a grass root politician that understand his people and very accessible.

“Vote Atunwa and witness a better Kwara. He is a tested and trusted leader that has serve his people excellently well,” the Governor said.

In his speech, Atunwa promised the people of Bani community a better road and standard schools if elected.

The Governorship candidate assured the youths of a better life and promised to create employment opportunity.

“You deserve a better road in Bani. I will make sure I provide a motorable road and build standard schools for you if you can vote for me,” he said.
